Headquarters internships: Behind every great field ministry are dedicated workers. Come learn what happens behind the scenes at Awana by interning at Awana headquarters in suburban Chicago.

Conference internships: What better way to learn about a variety of denominations and churches than to spend time with them. Join the Awana conference team to represent Awana and experience the different ways God works. You’ll introduce Awana to pastors, children’s ministry directors and other audiences and collect testimonies from member churches.

Dimensions Ministries internships: Dimensions Ministries, a component of 24-7 Ministries, provides unique discipleship opportunities for students in the areas of leadership, sports, missions and team unity – to name a few. Interns work alongside ministry partners to support their ministries and promote Awana and 24-7 Ministries. Internships take place throughout the United States and last for weekends or for multiple weeks at a time.

Field internships (available summer 2008): Do you want to explore full-time ministry in a safe environment? As a field intern you’ll work alongside Awana missionaries to help them with church care, development and outreach, phone calls, church visits, presentations, staffing and running Awana clubs. You’ll also receive mentoring and spiritual support from the Awana missionary as you learn how a missionary serves God every day. After your summer experience, there are opportunities to join a local ministry team.
