Welcome to the Leader Resource Page for T&T
Improved T&T Handbooks Are Getting Rave Reviews! We Get Letters ... and Tracts and Games Here's what Sienna from Garden Grove, California had to say about her leader: In first grade I realized I wanted to be a leader for others. You have shown me how to be a helpful and fun leader. I hope that when I am old enough, that I can make other kids as happy and comfortable as you have made me. You are a good role model. My family is grateful that you have made this year so special for me. |
Are You Looking for Some Different Theme Nights?! How about Dress Your Dog Night. Clubbers dress a hotdog to look like - a clubber, a dog, a king or whatever they want. Try Silent Night. No one is allowed to talk - except to say their verses or for the leader to teach the lesson. (Or could the leader teach without using words?) Choose songs that have lots of motions so they can be sung without words. Do you need to announce that there's no club on a particular night? Call it Invisible Night - no one wll be there, so you won't be able to see anyone. Here are some Memory Motivators for you? 1. Leaders and clubbers have a contest to find out who can complete the most verses by Christmas. 2. Clubbers are invited on a lunch out if they say so many verses. (You'll need to take several leaders along on this outing to comply with child protection guidelines.) 3. Promise a special activity for those clubbers who say a certain amount of verses: a huge banana split, a hayride, a leader makeover night, etc. 4. Clubbers earn the right to choose a song, games, etc., by earning points (by memorizing verses). Happy Fall! Â |
