Why CAFÉ? As advocates for directing young people toward Christ through the home and church, we desire to periodically join forces to fellowship, network, encouragement and learn from each other.
CAFÉ Commitments Scripture Instruction The Bible is the foundation and guide for the spiritual nurture of children and youth. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) Child Evangelism A personal, regenerative faith response to Jesus Christ is essential for the spiritual growth of children and youth. (John 3:3-8; Titus 3:5-7) Parent Engagement Parents are key to the spiritual nurture of children and youth. (Ephesians 6:1-4; Deuteronomy 6:4-9) Church Equipped Local church leaders lead ministries, interact with parents and model and love kids and teens as a stewardship from the Lord. (Ephesians 4:11-16) Developmental Life Change Creative, progressive, age-appropriate, family-systemic learning is integral for the spiritual nurture of children and youth. (1 Corinthians 13:11; Luke 2:52; Hebrews 5:8)
