Youth Ministry Easter Resources

I remember as a kid attending big service during Easter. It seemed larger than life. Almost surreal. The production, the music, and even a member of the church dressed like Jesus emerging from the tomb in victory. You couldn’t help but get caught up in the emotion of it all. I remember thinking, “wouldn’t it be cool if it actually happened?”

And for years I kept that doubt to myself. I appreciated what the resurrection of Jesus stood for and what it meant for Christians, but convinced myself that it was simply too good to be true.

After all dead people, generally stay dead. Right?

Fast forward several years, and a few degrees later. So much of my ministry has been dedicated to making sure that students don’t suffer through the same questions and doubts without some assurance about what we are telling them to believe in and celebrate.

So as you prepare for this year’s Easter celebration I thought it would be helpful to gather together some of our best resources that will help you help your students not only get caught up in the emotional tide of a resurrection celebration but gain a greater assurance for the truth of the most significant and most important event in all of human history.

Was the Tomb Really Empty?

Was the Tomb Really Empty?

Is the most significant miracle in the history of the world resting on blind hope? Are we staring at historical fact, or the single greatest hoax in history?

We created a series of videos called In 2 Minutes. The idea was to create answers to student questions in less than 2 minutes and post them on YouTube. Two of those videos dealt with the resurrection of Jesus.
