Meet Aradhya

Belong, Believe, Become Comes to Life

At the Awana club of Emmanuel Kripa Church in Nepal, a 7th grade student named Aradhya is setting an example for all those who know her. Aradhya is 11 years old and since early childhood, her sweet face and enthusiasm have graced the Awana club at her church every week. She’s always livened up the games at her club — but not just the games.

Aradhya truly dives into learning about her faith, prayer, worship and the biblical narratives they study each week. Through her diligence, she has memorized and can recite over 21 Bible verses, can list all the books of the Bible in chronological order and has demonstrated profound understanding of more than 15 Bible stories — more than many adults could say they deeply understand.

How do her leaders know she understands the meaning in those Bible stories? They see her living them out in her own life. Aradhya takes the stories and teachings of the Scriptures to heart—  and does her best to live them out in her own life. She shares her faith with her friends, invites them to attend church events, brings them to Christmas services, and has even gifted them Bibles. If they asked to join Aradhya at church every week, we have no doubt she would happily bring them along.

Aradhya is the Belong, Believe, Become “3B” ministry philosophy brought to life. As she has found belonging in her church community and in Jesus Christ; she also continues to nurture and more deeply understand what she believes as a Christian; and she is becoming a disciplemaker herself, sharing her faith with the people around her. Aradhya is an example for us all, and we pray the world never quenches her fire for spreading the Gospel.
