In recent years, Awana has shifted.
Not in theology.
Not in core values.
Certainly not in mission.
Our shift has to do with how we reach children, train leaders, and serve churches. Here’s the story:
It used to be that our product sales in the US went to fund efforts around the world. But we’ve recently come to understand that God is moving in such a rapid pace that it can be tough for us to keep up. When we saw God using Awana internationally, we knew we had to make a change. We knew product sales alone wouldn’t fund the kind of ministry we felt God calling us to. We needed to explore new models.
Awana is moving toward a new way of doing ministry that will allow us to reach kids in ways that we simply couldn’t have before. But rather than getting into the details here, it’s probably best to hear from our President, Jack Eggar.

The 60-in-60 campaign represents more than just a fund raising effort — although it certainly is that. These past two months represent a new way of doing ministry in the future. We’re excited to join with God’s people all across the globe as we reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world.
There are still a few hours for you to be a part of our 60in60 campaign! If you’d like to show your support and give children around the world an opportunity for lifelong discipleship, click here.
Thanks again for all you do!
