A Mother’s Day Prayer
God has entrusted women like you with a beautiful world to care for, and you leave your imprint on each life you impact. The strength and beauty of our risen Savior is that He holds both our joy and sadness in the palm of His hands. He doesn’t require us to separate them in His presence; He embraces the fullness of our pain and pleasure, our joy and sadness, and He walks alongside us because He knows what it feels like to weep and hope simultaneously.
So wherever you are and however you come into this Mother’s Day, please know, beloved daughter of the King, that you are seen.
