Tom Chilton
Vice President, Global Operations
Tom Chilton is the vice president of global operations for Awana. Tom has served with the global ministry of Awana for 25 years in a variety of roles — curriculum, training, advocacy and field leadership for Europe and Middle East/North Africa. In January 2025 Tom was promoted to vice president of global operations, where he assists the global leadership of Awana in planning, budgeting, resourcing and leadership development. Tom is a graduate of Wheaton College and has a master’s degree in intercultural studies. Tom is passionate about equipping leaders to reach more children and youth for Christ! He and his wife, Heather, have three children and live in the suburbs of Chicago.
Tom’s favorite Bible passage is Hebrews 12:1-2a, ESV: Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.
