Global Vice President Asia Pacific
In July 2025, Zoilo Anat was appointed global vice president for Awana Asia Pacific. He was the Philippines country director from 2004 to 2017, during which time the number of active Awana clubs in the area grew from 69 to 1200! In 2017 Zoilo became director of Southeast Asia, where eight of the 11 remarkably culturally diverse countries have an active Awana presence.
Zoilo’s leadership at Awana is a reflection of years spent in ministry. He earned a master’s degree in religious education from Cornerstone University and worked with Precious Moments Philippines, the Child Evangelism Fellowship and local churches as a youth pastor for 10 years before he was called to join Awana. His vision for Awana in the Asia Pacific area continues to propel the ministry forward so millions of children and youth will be reached with the Gospel.
Zoilo’s life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
