Shop with Amazon Smile and Reach Kids
Want to support Awana at the same time you’re shopping the world’s largest store? What if we said that the donation is coming from Amazon, which means that it’s not costing you extra?
Amazon Smile is a “simple and automatic way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you.” (Amazon Smile FAQs.) If you shop at Amazon.com, you can set up Amazon Smile so that every purchase you make, they will give a half of 1% (0.5%) of your purchase price to a charity of your choice.
And Awana is one of those charities!
Follow the steps below to set up Amazon Smile so that you can support the Awana ministry, reaching more kids around the world…while you’re shopping for things you need or gifts for others.
- Go to smile.Amazon.com.
- Sign in using your personal Amazon email address and password.
- After you’ve signed in using your personal/home account, you’ll have a chance to choose a charity. In the space where you’re able to pick your own charitable organization, type “Awana” and then press “Search” or click this link.
- Awana or “Awana Clubs International” should be at the top of list. Press the “select” button to the side.
- Done! Now you’re all set up. Every time you make a purchase on Amazon, Awana will benefit. And, it’s not costing you any extra.
Now you can go shop for Christmas gifts or anything else you need while supporting the work of Awana around the world.
