July brings one of the most awaited weeks of the year in Brazil – Awana Camp! It is a week full of Bible teaching, fun and new friends. The caretaker of camp asked if his 10-year-old granddaughter (who was visiting him), could participate in activities. “Of course” we said, “she is welcome!”. The first day of camp, one of our leaders, Julio, gave an invitation and eight children came forward to receive Christ as their Saviour! Who would you imagine was one of them that came up saying“I want Jesus in my heart too!”? Yes, last but not least, Bianca, our unexpected camper, also prayed to receive Christ! What a blessing to see God ́s hand upon us! Please pray for Bianca as she returns to live with her unsaved mother, that she may find a Bible teaching church to continue growing in her newfound faith.
