OUTER SPACE NIGHT
TO READ: Genesis 1 – God made the sun, moon, stars – He created the heavens and the earth.
TO DO: Planet Ring Toss – Set different-sized balls around the room representing planets. One person from each team stands behind a designated line with a hula hoop. At the signal he throws the hoop and attempts to get it around one (or more) of the “planets.” Points are given for each “planet” that is looped.
MUSIC NIGHT
TO READ: Ephesians 5:19
TO DO: Invite kids who play a musical instrument to be part of a music show. Sing extra songs during Large Group Time (or use some of Game Time to sing).
WEATHER NIGHT
TO READ – Matthew 16:2-3 – most people don’t know that the phrase “Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky at morning, sailor’s warning” is based on a verse. Or you could talk about one of the storm accounts in the Bible such as the one found in Jonah or the one detailed in Mark 4:35-41
TO DO: Make windsocks from cotton and ribbon. (Easy instructions on the web.)
VERSE-A-THON NIGHT

TRIVIA NIGHT
TO READ: This is a compilation of what the kids have learned throughout the year.
TO DO: Set your room up as your favorite game show stage. Give points for kids who bring a Bible trivia question with them to club (but know that leaders will have to write most of the questions.) Intersperse Bible questions with trivia like “How much pizza does the average person eat every year? – 46 slices! Questions/answers like this are easy to find on the internet. Have small prizes for the winning team.
VACATION NIGHT
TO READ: About Paul’s missionary journeys. True he wasn’t on vacation, but discuss the reason why he traveled and why he kept going even after he was beaten and arrested.
TO DO: Kids can dress as if they’re going on vacation. If you have posters from different places, you can decorate the room with them and take the kids’ pictures in front of them.
