How to Give Kids a Heart for the Nations
Developing a child’s heart for the nations is a foundational layer of resilient discipleship. But as a leader, where do you start? This blog offers seven ways you can begin to cultivate the hearts of the kids you disciple so they can see the world through God’s eyes! It also includes a downloadable resource to share with your leaders and church family.
Awana GO is an easy-to-use resource to help leaders prepare children and youth to participate in the Great Commission in fun and meaningful ways. The free downloadable lessons educate, engage and empower children to make a difference in the world.
Are the kids in your Awana club ready to reach more kids? Participating in a Versa-a-Thon allows them to raise money to help kids around the world become resilient disciples. Each child is sponsored to recite as many verses as they can on one club night. The funds raised are used to train leaders to start Awana ministry in their church or community.
The first International Verse-a-Thon is this year! One hundred kids across Nepal participated in a Bible verse memorization contest via Zoom. Churches can sponsor these children to train leaders to reach more kids in South Asia.
