Faith Comes Full Circle: Eusebea’s Story
India
In 2008, in the bustling, lush border town of Rangpo, Sikkim, India, a young mother walked into an Awana Seed Planters’ Training at a church. Among the many faces present, most of them grown, one small figure quietly trailed just behind her — a little girl named Eusebea. Too young to understand there was any significance in the moment, Eusebea simply watched as her mother learned, served and committed herself to planting seeds of faith in young hearts.
2008 Seed Planters’ Training young Eusebea attended with her mom
That little girl is all grown up now. Today, Eusebea is a college student with her own dreams, convictions and calling. And in the kind of beautiful circle that can only be drawn by God’s own hand, one of those callings was to return to her home church. Eusebea returned last month — not as an observer this time, but as a participant in a Seed Planters’ Training.
Eusebea steps into her calling as a disciplemaker
Her journey is a powerful reminder of how seeds planted in faith are never planted in vain. Whether Eusebea knew it at the time, all those years ago, her mother’s commitment to teaching was gently shaping Eusebea’s path, nurturing a heart for ministry and service.
Seeing her as an Awana leader now, stepping into the same training her mother once attended … It’s a testimony of God’s grace flowing from one generation to the next.
A passion for discipleship passes from one generation to the next
So many parents and children have a starkly different story, an “I will never raise my children the way my parents raised me” testimony. But time and time again, kids raised in Awana, who watched their own mothers and fathers prioritize faith and pass it on to the next generation, are eager to follow in their footsteps. They grow up to become “seed planters” in their own right.
A relationship with Jesus can change everything, not just for one person, but for the lives they touch. You are an integral part of that movement. Thank you.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2)
